I’m Ellie, a creative person living in Chicago.

I’m an atheistic, apanthropic, childfree Gen X collapsenik. Some of my favorite things include 20th century fiction, gallows humor, conversations outside the Overton window, and dogs over 75 pounds.

I work a real job to keep the lights on, but this is what I do for joy. Here you’ll find fables and fairy tales, flash fiction, poetry and songs, character studies and satire, journaling and personal essays, plus other experimental writing. There’s also some of my photography, doodles, and amateur graphic design.
