My Wedding

I designed every aspect of my wedding myself, from the centerpieces (custom “books” on theme with my ex’s and my interests, with jackets I printed myself) to the candy bar with photos of the “sweetest” people in our lives (our friends) and hand-cranked SWAK stickers, to the table numbers (photos of my ex & I holding my vintage typewriter in various fun locations), to the “wish paper basket” and charity jar tokens and letterpress invitations. I also wrote the ceremony, customized my bouquet with typewriter keys, wrote the playlist for the reception and the string quartet, as well as the copy for the dinner menu (guests could choose “of the sea” - fish, or “of the coop” - chicken).

I got to design my dream wedding, top-to-bottom, and then spend the night dancing and laughing with my best friends while wearing a blush-pink princess gown. And I didn’t even have to keep the husband.

No regrets whatsoever.
